UFC Vegas 29: Korean Zombie vs Dan Ige

Dangerous Davey Grant 35, 5’8” 11 and 4 vs Marlon “Chito” Vera 28, 5’8” 18, 7 and 1 draw

Saturday night (19/6/21) Revenge or repeat?

The last time these two fought was at London’s O2 Arena. That was the night Michael Bisping beat Anderson Silva (27/2/2016).

Davey won a unanimous decision.

Five years later they meet again. This time at the UFC Apex, Las Vegas.

The Bishop Auckland man is on a 3 fight win streak. In his last 2 fights his trusty left hand has earned him 2 knockouts. Martin Day left hook plus $50k bonus and Jonathan Martinez over hand left and another $50k performance bonus.

Marlon has been far more active since their first fight with 9 wins and 4 loses. Chito is super tough having never been stopped and has only ever lost via a decision.

Davey has a great corner team Alex Enlund, Matt Inman and Cameron Hardy. Plus aid from any of the SBG gyms. Mr Grant loves a challenge and to get a stoppage would surely equal another bonus. This is a “Fight of the Night” contender.

With his eye on the prize it is “Repeat” for Dangerous Davey the dragon slayer Grant.

Good luck fella
