The first fight of British Fighting Championship: BFC1, fight 1. Scotland vs England.

Gregor, being the first man to enter the BFC cage, made a confident start.

A couple of lead leg kicks. One a low leg strike and one a front kick to the body.

Zak untroubled moved to his left and answered with a double jab. Gregor threw a 2, 1 combination to disguise his intended takedown. Gregor had double underhooks with Zaks back to the fence. Despite having a right whizzer Zak fell to his back keeping Gregor in his guard. The Scotsman peppered away with shots as Zak worked to regain his feet. He succeeded but left his neck out for just long enough for Gregor to cease the opportunity and pull guard with a tight and well rehearsed guillotine choke. Zak reluctantly tapped.

Referee Tim Close stopped the contest at 48 seconds of the very first round.

Zak lost his debut. Always a difficult experience, but he is well trained and from a good team. He will return stronger.

Gregor successfully won his second fight and is now 1 and 1.

Gregor representing Fu Dog MMA rose to 1 and 1. Zak  representing Apex MMA fell to 0 and 1
