An amateur MMA bout at 70kg Lightweight
A shake of hands and a touch of gloves. Two big lads for the weight. Hands held high and already the extra experience is evident. Sean opened with a low roundhouse to the inside thigh.

Yves counters, both swinging heavy leather, to a clinch that moved around the cage.

Elliott with good head position maintained control and powered Musasa to the ground, but Yves popped straight back up. Now working his whizzer he broke free. During an ill-tempered exchange, in which Musasa found his flow, a low blow was absorbed by Sean.

It was on the blind side of the referee. Sean backing up caught heavy follow up shots and as Alan stepped in with a “time out” for the foul. Elliott hurt from initial foot and latter fists dropped to the canvas.

Four and a half minutes later Elliott felt he could resume the fight. Southpaw, Elliott pushed forward with fast punching combinations. Both planted their feet and swung. If either landed it would be game over.

Yves grabbed the clinch.

Sean tried a throw,

but gave up his back.

They dropped to the floor Musasa was able to get his forearm under the neck,

with one hook in he secured a rear naked choke.

Sean was forced to tap. He may have still been hurt from the low blow, but Yves could not be denied.

One of the most entertaining fights of the night.
Yves Musasa climbed to 3-0, via RNC at 2:20 of the first round.
